Anyone who has seen me about in the petz community probably has gotten the idea that I like to try new things out! I had this idea of starting a Petzabloo line of petz "collectibles". Here's some info on this if you're interested!
Petz Collectibles is a program run by Petzabloo that enables members of the petz community to "collect" Petzabloo petz. How it works is this way: Petz will be posted on Petzabloo, and depending on how rare or common the pet is, it will have a certain amount of itself given out. So, for example's sake, take Cupid, the Petzabloo's Valentine's Day 2013 pet (which will be pictured below), being that he is the very first pet ever to be given out, he will have a "limited edition" status. The collectible rarity scale goes as follows:
Common (Petz with this rating will be available in large quantities [30+] when first introduced and have a very high chance of becoming available again after the initial introduction)
Uncommon (Petz with this rating will be available in less quantities [20-25] than a "common" pet when first introduced and have a slimmer chance of being available again after the initial introduction)
Rare (Petz with this rating will be available in quantities of no more than 10, and the possibility of them becoming available again are super slim after the initial introduction)
Limited Edition (Petz with this rating will be available in quantities of no more than 10, and will not be available again after initial introduction)
Awesome, so how do I get them? The way you get Petzabloo Collectible petz is through a few different ways. Here are some possibilities:
- Something simple as being the first 5 or 10 (whatever it may be) people to post their interest and e-mail.
- Winning a contest (which will be held from time to time on Petzabloo)
- Random events (explained in detail below)
What are "random events"? Random events are events that happen when you least expect it. You may find a collectible pet in your e-mail inbox if you have been frequently contributing to Petzabloo, such as commenting, advertising, or just being an avid reader. Sometimes you may be browsing an issue and see hidden somewhere that if you are the first to e-mail myself, you will get a surprise. They're just that: surprises.
Cool, but what if I miss out on a rare or limited edition pet, I never get a chance to get one? No, of course you get a chance to get one! Just because a pet was offered initially and you missed out, you can still obtain it! Here is where trades come into play. You may offer trades to other people. Trade your collectibles, or even gift them to someone if you want!
